K La Rock offers innovative DJ workshops, clinics, and private lessons to individuals and groups. Classes provide comprehensive hands-on training for beginners, covering DJ fundamentals, equipment set-up, and basic mixing techniques. Students also learn the history of DJing, performance tips, and even have the chance to visit record stores or take advantage of performance opportunities.

K La Rock is dedicated to making music and DJing accessible to all, especially women and girls. With a background in youth development and classroom instruction, she brings years of teaching and facilitation experience along with a passion for community-building and DIY arts education. In the past, she’s brought workshops to Girls Rock! DC, Young Women’s Project, YMCA of Philadelphia, and clubs such as the Black Cat.
